Proposes a new type of personal comfort system combining radiant heating terminals with workstation. To explore the heating effect of radiant heating terminals, collects the local and overall thermal sensations of twenty-four volunteers at different ambient temperature by experiments, and compares them with those in the traditional air conditioning environment. The results indicate that radiant heating terminals significantly improve the volunteers’ thermal sensation, when the environment deviates from the comfortable temperature range. The thermal sensations of upper and lower limbs are improved significantly, but the body’s thermal sensation does not change much, when using workstation radiant terminal. The average vote of overall thermal sensation at 16 ℃ is at the neutral level. The workstation radiant heating terminal expands the comfort temperature range while ensuring the thermal comfort of the human body.
